BRAND, William H., a Representative from Lycoming County; born in Breckenridge, Allegheny County, Pa., December 28, 1922; graduated, Williamsport High School, 1940; captain, United States Army (1942-1946, World War II); served, United States Army Reserve Corps (1946-1953, Korean War); owner, retail store (1946-1950); realtor and insurance salesman (1950-1958); member, Young Men’s Republican Club; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1957 term and served 1 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House in the 1958 General election; owner and broker, Vernon Realty Company (1965-1981); antique dealer; died, January 31, 2017 in North Belle Vernon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Belle Vernon Cemetery, North Belle Vernon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
