ANDERSON, Matthew S., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 10, 1904 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Schenley High School;  member, 1st District, 5th Ward Democratic Committee, Pittsburgh (14 years); secretary, 5th Ward Democratic Committee (18 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1954; served 2 consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1958 General election; minute clerk, Allegheny County Criminal Court (30 years); died, April 30, 1976 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
