Stuart Funeral Home; personnel department, Owens Illinois Glass Plant Incorporated; elected, mayor, Knox Borough (1969); committeeman, Clarion County (1975-1987); elected, commissioner, Clarion County (1979-1987); executive assistant, Pennsylvania State Senators John Peterson and Tim Shaffer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1996 as a Republican; reelected to 5 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2008).
