BRADFORD, Matthew D., a Representative from Montgomery County; born, May 23, 1975 in Media, Delaware County, Pa.; graduated, Downingtown Area Senior High School, 1994; B.A., political science and history, Villanova University, 1997; J.D., Villanova University School of Law, 2002; lawyer; municipal administrator and chief executive officer, Norristown; solicitor, Norristown Area School Board, Norristown Municipal Waste Authority, and the Whitemarsh; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 2009 term; reelected to the House for 7 more consecutive terms; elected, Minority Appropriations Committee Chair (2019-2022); appointed, Select Committee on Property Tax Reform (2012); appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (2011-present); appointed, Higher Education Funding Commission (2019-present); elected, Majority Appropriations Committee Chair (January 3, 2023-February 28, 2023); elected, Majority Floor Leader (February 28, 2023-present).
