O’NEILL, Bernard T., "Bernie," a Representative from Bucks County; born in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., 1953; graduated, William Tennent High School, 1971; A.A., Bucks County Community College, 1973; B.S., The Pennsylvania State University, 1973; M.A., education, Temple University, 1983; graduate courses, The Pennsylvania State University, East Stroudsburg University, Wilkes College, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Marywood College and Philadelphia College of Performing Arts; special education teacher, William Tennent High School (1977-2003); deputy state constable, Warminster Township (1980-1982); migrant program consultant and counselor, Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 (1980-1986); chair, board of supervisors, Warminster Township (1998-2002); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2002; reelected to the House to serve 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2011-2012; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2012); appointed, board, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (2017-2018); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2018); elected, school board, Centennial school district (2019-present).
