AN ACT
Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 15552, on that
portion of carrying U.S. Route 219 over Elk Creek, Ridgway
Borough, Elk County, as the Elk County Vietnam Veterans
Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Elk County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge.
(a) Designation.--The bridge located on, identified as
Bridge Key 15552, carrying U.S. Route 219 over the Elk Creek,
Ridgway Borough, Elk County, is designated as the Elk County
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge in recognition of the men and
women who bravely served in the Vietnam Conflict and the
following individuals who sacrificed their lives for their
country:
(1) Jerome Edward Bowers, Jr., United States Army.
(2) Larry Wayne Gardner, United States Marine Corps.
(3) Michael Gigliotti, United States Army.

(b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
traffic in both directions on the bridge.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
