An Act amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, further providing for definition of "professional employe" to include school social workers; providing for academic accountability; establishing the State Board of Vocational Education and the Bureau of Academic Accountability; providing for academically autonomous school districts; further providing for boards of school directors; abolishing and providing for a transfer of functions of the State Board of Education and the Board of Vocational and Technical Education; and making repeals.
