Short Title:
An Act requiring the certification of individuals engaged in lead-based paint activities; establishing minimum training requirements for the various occupations that perform lead-based paint activities; requiring training to be provided by accredited training programs; establishing standards for performing lead-based paint activities; providing for the enforcement of standards; requiring the licensure of lead contractors; establishing interim regulations; establishing fees for accreditation, certification and licensure; requiring prior notification; establishing the Lead-Based Paint Abatement Advisory Committee; establishing reciprocal arrangements with other states; further providing for a continuing appropriation; and making a repeal.
