An Act amending the act of July 7, 1980 (P. L. 380, No. 97), known as the "Solid Waste Management Act," further providing for the approval of permits and licenses and for the power and duties of municipalities; prohibiting the siting of hazardous waste treatment or disposal facilities in the vicinity of certain buildings; requiring a fee for emergency groundwater contamination plans; further providing for search warrants; further providing regulation of the management of hazardous waste; further providing for the powers and duties of the Department of Environmental Resources; establishing a Hazardous Substance Account; further prescribing penalties; further providing remedies; and providing for jurisdiction of Commonwealth Court.
