An Act amending "The Administrative Code of 1929," approved April 9, 1929 (P. L. 177, No. 175), creating a Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, defining its powers and duties, transferring State mental institutions and their boards of trustees into the department, transferring certain powers and duties of the Department of Public Welfare and the Secretary of Public Welfare to the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, and transferring appropriations.
