An Act amending the act of July 8, 1986 (P.L.408, No.89), known as the Health Care Cost Containment Act, further providing for definitions, for the council and its powers and duties, for data submission, collection, dissemination and publication, for health care for the medically indigent, for mandated health benefits, for access to council data, for special studies and reports, enforcement and penalties, for research and demonstration projects, for grievances and grievance procedures, for antitrust, for contracts with vendors and for reporting; providing for establishment of a health care cost containment council act review committee; and further providing for severability and for sunset.
