The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows: Section 1. The sum of $178,000 is hereby appropriated to the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006, for operating expenses, including maintenance and the purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment.Section 2. Payments to the Mercer Museum on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.Section 3. The Mercer Museum shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
