The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:Section 1. The following routes in Allegheny County established or adopted as State highway routes as indicated are deleted from the State highway system and abandoned or vacated by the Commonwealth to Allegheny County, viz.:(1) Route 682: Established by section 1, act of May 5, 1927 (P.L.787, No.408).Route 682. That portion between Stations 0+00 and 39+60 is abandoned to the County of Allegheny for maintenance as a local access highway and the portion between Stations 39+60 and 214+57 is vacated to the county.(2) Route 02009: Established by section 3, act of July 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203).Route 02009. That portion between Stations 169+30 and 182+50 is abandoned to the county for maintenance as a local access highway and that portion between Station 0+00 and 169+30 is vacated to the county.(3) Route 02009: Spur E between Station 0+00 and 3+70: Adopted as a State highway under a plan signed by Governor Gifford Pinchot dated December 14, 1934 is vacated to the county.Route 02009, Spur E. Beginning at a point in Findlay Township, Allegheny County, Station 0+00 and extending to Station 3+70 in Findlay Township, Allegheny County, a distance of 0.0701 mile is vacated to the county.(4) Route 02023: Established by section 3, act of July 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203).Route 02023. Beginning at a point on Route 538 near the Peoples Gas Company pumping station; thence in a northeasterly direction to an intersection with Route 02009, in Allegheny County, a distance of about 1.2 miles is vacated to the county.Section 2. (a) The following parts of acts are repealed to the extent indicated:(1) Section 1, act of May 5, 1927 (P.L.787, No.408), entitled "An act establishing certain public roads as State highways, and providing for their construction and maintenance at the expense of the Commonwealth," in so far as it relates to Route 682.(2) Section 3, act of July 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203), entitled "An act establishing certain township roads as State highways; authorizing their construction, maintenance, and improvement under certain conditions and restrictions; limiting the obligation of the Commonwealth in the construction of certain structures located on such highways; conferring certain powers upon the Department of Highways and local authorities, persons, associations and corporations for sharing the cost of the maintenance and construction of such highways; and making an appropriation to carry out the provisions of said act," in so far as it relates to Routes 02009 and 02023.(b) The plan signed by Governor Gifford Pinchot on December 14, 1934 adopting as a State highway Route 02009, Spur E between Station 0+00 and 3+70, in Findlay Township, Allegheny County, is repealed.Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
