TAXES ON HOUSEHOLD GOODS, ABOLISHED Act of May 13, 1887, P.L. 114, No. 54 Cl. 53 AN ACT To abolish all taxes laid upon watches, household furniture and pleasure carriages within this Commonwealth. Section 1. Taxes on watches, household furniture and pleasure carriages abolished All taxes, for whatsoever purpose, laid upon watches, household furniture and pleasure carriages, by and under the revenue laws of this Commonwealth, be and the same are hereby abolished, and the laws under which said taxes are levied and collected, so far as they relate to the property herein mentioned, are hereby repealed. 1887, May 13, P.L. 114, Sec. 1. |
