DEEDS - COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - RECORDING Act of Apr. 5, 1849, P.L. 344, No. 270 Cl. 68 AN ACT Authorizing the commissioners of the district of Southwark, in the county of Philadelphia, to erect water works. Section 2. Deeds of County Commissioners All deeds of County Commissioners, being duly acknowledged, may be recorded in the office for recording deeds in the county where the lands lie, and the records thereof, or duly certified copies thereof, shall be evidence in all cases where the original deeds would be evidence; and where any such deeds have heretofore been recorded as aforesaid, the records thereof, or duly certified copies thereof, shall be as good evidence as if the same had been recorded under the provisions of this act. 1849, April 5, P.L. 344, Sec. 2. |
