Subject: Military Discount for State Parks
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that would amend the Conservation and Natural Resources Act to provide a 15% military discount on state park activity fees.
 
The legislation would apply to active duty military personnel and veterans. Military personnel and veterans who qualify would have to provide identification in order to receive a discount.
 
This legislation will be similar to legislation sponsored by Representative Armanini in the House and is one small way we can show our gratitude to those in the military.
