Subject: Resolution Designating April 2022 as Pennsylvania Community College Month
 
We plan to introduce a resolution designating the month of April 2022 as “Pennsylvania Community College Month" in the Commonwealth.
 
Pennsylvania’s community colleges play an indispensable role in the Commonwealth’s system of higher education by providing accessible and affordable post-secondary education, workforce training, and dual enrollment opportunities for students from all stages and walks of life. The community colleges have served the people of Pennsylvania for almost 60 years in these capacities, and they continue to work to better meet the needs of their students and the needs of Pennsylvania employers.
 
We hope that you will join us, in our role as Co-Chairs of the Community College Caucus, in recognizing the outstanding contributions Pennsylvania’s community colleges have made to their communities and the Commonwealth as a whole by co-sponsoring this resolution
