Subject: The 200th Anniversary of the Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church
 
Please join me in sponsoring a resolution recognizing the 200th anniversary of the Wesley A.M.E Zion Church. 
 
The Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church is one of the earliest independent African-American churches in the nation, established in Philadelphia on June 6, 1820. It has provided irreplaceable community services including the founding of the first hospital for African-Americans in Philadelphia. 
 
Please join me in congratulating this pillar of our community and wishing them another 200 years of success.
