Subject: PPE for pollworkers
 
As the June 2 primary election approaches, the need to protect our pollworkers during the COVID-19 pandemic has become increasingly evident. 
 
To meet this need in all 67 counties, I will soon be introducing legislation to require the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to all pollworkers throughout the state on primary election day. Taking this simple protective measure is vital to the protection of public health and safety, and the conduct of a free and fair election.
 
Please join me in ensuring that our pollworkers and voters feel safe at the polls, allowing the democratic process to advance.
