Subject: Greek Independence Day in Pennsylvania
 
As a proud Greek American, I plan to introduce a resolution in the near future to designate March 25, 2020 as Greek Independence Day in Pennsylvania. The impact of Greece on the United States is undeniable. Our Founding Fathers drew upon Greek principles and ideals when creating our bold experiment in Democracy. This resolution will be offered in the Senate in conjunction with a resolution from the House of Representatives by Rep. Sheryl Delozier. Please join me in recognizing the significant role that Greek Americans have played in the economic, cultural and social development of the Commonwealth.
