Subject: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day
 
When we return to session, I will offer a resolution recognizing March 11, 2020 as “Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day” in Pennsylvania to commemorate the work of RDNs in helping people make positive lifestyle changes. Their role in informing the public of healthy eating habits should not go unnoticed.

Registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) are the food and nutrition experts who translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. 3,500 residents of this Commonwealth are members of the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which is an affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and advocates for promotion of optimal nutrition, health, and well-being.
