Subject: Senior Center Month
 
I will soon introduce a resolution recognizing September 2019 as "Senior Center Month" in Pennsylvania. The 2019 theme is: Senior Centers; The Key to Aging Well.

Senior centers, through a wide array of services, programs and activities, play a vital role in and empower the lives of older residents to contribute to their own health and well-being and the health and well-being of their fellow residents of all ages.

This resolution specifically recognizes the special contributions of senior center staff and volunteers who work diligently to enhance the health and well-being of our Commonwealth's older citizens.
