Subject: Nurses Week
 
In the near future, we plan to introduce a resolution declaring May 6-12, 2019, as "Nurses Week" in Pennsylvania.

Each May, the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association partners with health care organizations to promote Nurses Week highlighting the numerous ways nurses are working to transform health care across the Commonwealth. Our dedicated nursing professionals are working diligently to meet health care needs of our Commonwealth and deserve to be recognized for this commitment.

The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association serves as the professional nursing association in Pennsylvania and represents the largest segment of health care providers with more than 218,000 registered nurses across the Commonwealth.

Please join us by co-sponsoring this resolution.
