Subject:	National Police Week and Police Officers’ Memorial Day in PA Resolution

In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing the week of May 12 through May 18, 2019, as “National Police Week” and designating May 6, 2019, as “Police Officers’ Memorial Day” in Pennsylvania. The resolution, which will be presented at the annual Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania State Lodge Police Memorial Ceremony at the State Museum on May 6, will honor the brave law enforcement officers who died in the line-of-duty. Four officers will be honored at this year’s service: Deputy U.S. Marshal Christopher Hill, Detective Sergeant Brian Cuscino, Officer Alex Sable, and Officer Raymond Diaz, Jr. Please join me as a co-sponsor in honoring these brave individuals and recognizing the hard work and commitment of all of our police officers in Pennsylvania.
