MEMORANDUM

Posted: August 15, 2018 11:13 AM
From: Senator Lisa M. Boscola
To: All Senate members
Subject: Recommendations from the 40th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury Report on Abuse

In light of the 40th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury Report, I plan to introduce legislation based on two recommendations by the grand jury. The bills that I plan to introduce are as follows:

1. Amending the law requiring the reporting of abuse on a minor to include language clarifying an obligation to report on an individual whom exhibits a pattern of abuse and/or is likely to commit additional acts of child abuse.

2. Requires language that would allow parties to a non-disclosure agreement to cooperate with law enforcement or prosecutors if any or all so decide.

I hope will you join me in co-sponsoring this legislation. If you have any questions, please contact my Harrisburg office at 717-787-4236.
