Subject: | Community College Completion Week Resolution |
In the near future, I intend to introduce a resolution recognizing the second annual Pennsylvania Community College Completion Challenge (PAC4) Week from October 16-22, 2016. There are many benefits to completing a community college certificate or degree. Students with a degree earn $500 thousand more than students with only a high school degree during their time in the workforce. As co-chair of the Community College Caucus, I believe that PAC4 is an important initiative for the students of the commonwealth. This challenge was created to encourage community college students to complete their studies at the colleges. During this week, Community Colleges across the state are embarking on programs to promote course completion. Please join me in supporting our Community College students. |
