Subject:	Distribution of Slot Machine Revenues in 2A Counties

In the very near future, I will be re-introducing legislation, SB 926, which will amend Title 4 to change the current distribution of net slot machine revenue in 2A counties. Currently, 2% of gross terminal revenue from a Category 3 licensed gaming facility operating in a County of the second class A is distributed to the Commonwealth Financing Authority for county grant projects related to the Business in Our Sites Program, Tax Increment Financing Guarantee Program, and the Water Supply and Wastewater Infrastructure Program. My legislation will remove this distribution formula and dedicate this revenue directly to the county hosting the facility.
