From: Senator Jay Costa
To: All Senate members
Subject: Unlawful use of tracking technology

In the near future I will be introducing legislation to make it unlawful for any person to utilize tracking technology without lawful authority or consent. The legislation will amend both the offense of Stalking as well as the Wiretap act to prohibit the unauthorized use of such technology. Several states have enacted similar legislation including New York, Texas, California, Illinois, Virginia and Delaware.

Please join me in sponsoring this legislation.
