Subject: Firefigher Universal Key
 
In the near future I will be introducing legislation that will amend the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act in an effort to assist firefighters who answer calls into multiple level buildings with elevators. A universal key enables firefighters to override elevator controls in the event of a fire emergency.

This is just one more tool for firefighters that should be made available in order for them to save and protect lives and property.
