Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: September 5, 2013 03:18 PM
From: Senator Richard L. Alloway, II
To: All Senate members
Subject: Merchant Marine Veteran License Plate

In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to amend Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statues, to allow Pennsylvanians who have served our country in the United States Merchant Marines in WWII, Korean War, and any of the Gulf Wars (Operation Dessert Storm, Operation Dessert Shield, and Operation Iraqi Freedom) to apply for their own specialty license plate.

Presently, specialty military license plates are available to US Marine, US Coast Guard, US Air Force, US Navy, and US Army veterans and Merchant Marine veterans that served in WWII.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation.

Introduced as SB1108
