Subject: Military Instruction (Previously SB 1456)
 
In the near future, I plan on reintroducing legislation (SB 1456 of last session, co-sponsored by: ORIE, SCARNATI, SCHWANK, WOZNIAK, PIPPY, RAFFERTY, TARTAGLIONE, D. WHITE, BRUBAKER AND WARD), concerning the licensure of JROTC instructors thereby allowing the Department of Education to recognize the military science instruction certification. This legislation would allow those teaching JROTC to continue to provide instruction with a military science endorsement as an instructor provided the instructor has a documented 20 years of service.
