Subject:	Part Time Election Workers

In the very near future, I will be re-introducing legislation (SB 806) to amend the Pennsylvania Election Code to permit the appointment and compensation of election officials to work one-half of an election day. I am introducing this legislation due to the difficulty in finding individuals to serve as election officers for an entire election day. Hopefully this provision will encourage more people to involve themselves in the electoral process.
