Subject: School Taxes- 2/3 Majority for Increase
 
In the very near future, I will be re-introducing legislation (SB 537) to amend the Public School Code to require all millage tax increases to be approved by a two-thirds majority vote by the members elected to the board of school directors. This will not change or alter Act 72.
