Subject: Recognizing and honoring the members of The Links, Incorporated's Pennsylvania chapters
This resolution recognizes and honors the members of The Links, Incorporated's Pennsylvania chapters for their decades of dedication to community service, empowerment, and enrichment in the Commonwealth on the occasion of "Links Day" at the State Capitol, June 4th, 2024.

The Links, Incorporated, founded in 1946 by Sara Strickland Scott and Margaret Hawkins in Philadelphia, has evolved into one of the nation's largest volunteer service organizations, with over 14,000 members across 286 chapters contributing over 950,000 documented hours of community service annually. Their dedication to the cultural and economic advancement of African Americans and persons of African ancestry is a leading factor in their success across the nation, upholding core values such as friendship, integrity, service, and responsibility. Members of The Links, Incorporated serve as influential leaders and role models, shaping their communities through advocacy, mentorship, and collaboration.

Please join us in recognizing and honoring the members of The Links, Incorporated's Bucks County Chapter, Delaware Valley Chapter, Harrisburg Chapter, Montgomery County Chapter, Penn Towne Chapter, Philadelphia Chapter, and Pittsburgh Chapter, for their outstanding contributions to the Commonwealth.
