Subject: Municipal Donations to Ukraine (Former HB 2599)
 
As the war in Ukraine continues, more and more of our municipalities have taken it upon themselves to donate used police and fire equipment to help the people of Ukraine.  My legislation ensures that these donations are not considered a financial loss by the municipality and that any official that approves a donation would not be held financially responsible.

Please join me in sponsoring this important legislation to ensure that our communities can donate as much fire and police equipment as possible.
