Subject: COVID-19 Vaccination Status Justice for State Employees
 
I will soon be introducing legislation to bring justice to employees who were wrongly fired or wrongly banned from work due to not getting vaccinated for COVID-19.  
 
The legislation reinstates with back pay any state employee who was fired for not getting vaccinated for COVID-19.  The legislation will also reinstate their seniority, job titles, pay grades, etc.  In addition to that, any state employee who was not fired but missed work due to not being vaccinated and not being allowed to go to work would receive that back pay. 
 
The legislation also applies to employees of the PA National Guard, state authorities, state boards and state commissions, Judicial branch employees and Legislative Branch employees.
