Subject: Abortion Healthcare Provider Training
 
It is important that Pennsylvania be a safe state for people seeking abortions. To make Pennsylvania such a place, we must ensure that healthcare providers are trained with the most up-to-date information on how to provide reproductive health services.

My bill will provide funds to the Department of Health to establish a training program for abortion care. As we look to protect access to abortion in Pennsylvania given the Dobbs decision, this program will be important in keeping the procedure as safe as it has traditionally been for decades.
