Subject: Increasing EITC Tax Credits
 
In the coming days, I plan on introducing legislation that will increase the amount of tax credits available under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) by $150 million (to $335 million), providing tens of thousands of additional Pennsylvania families the ability to choose a school that best fits their needs.
 
The EITC program helps students by strengthening school choice opportunities, especially for students who would not otherwise be able to attend the school of their choice without access to scholarship funds. Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation to further provide educational opportunities for our students in the Commonwealth.   
 


Introduced as HB1541
