Subject: Liquor Control Enforcement complaints
 
I will be introducing legislation in the near future regarding Liquor Control Enforcement complaints.
 
My legislation will require the LCE to disclose who makes a complaint against a bar or restaurant. The last year has led to an increase in frivolous complaints lodged against our bar and restaurant industry, and in some cases, I believe these complaints are done purely to spite or harm a bar or restaurant. Currently, these complaints are anonymous, and I believe that the accused have the right to know who reports them.
