| Subject: | Corporate Logo Fleet License Plate Legislation |
| In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation to make the choice of license plates more attractive and give PennDOT more revenue from the sales of these plates. Corporate Logo Fleet Plate: This legislation would create a fleet license plate program similar to Indiana and Virginia. PennDOT would be able to issue custom plates with the corporate business logo of a fleet of over 100 vehicles based and registered in Pennsylvania. A one-time administrative fee of $6,000 for fleets of 100-199 and $5,000 for fleets 200 or over would cover sign up and the ability create a business logo special plate design. Each plate would then be issued at a $20 fee per plate for either Apportioned or regular plates for power units and $11 per trailer. The plates offer companies a way to increase public exposure of a company brand while helping the state pave roads and repair bridges. Business logo special plates can also be personalized. For a one-time fee of $100 per plate. Eligible companies would have to enter into an agreement to authorize PennDOT to display a company logo on the special plates.
