Subject: Updating Administrative Code to Repeal Provisions Relating to Entities That Were Terminated Under the Sunset Act
 
Please join me as a co-sponsor of legislation to repeal provisions in the Administrative Code of 1929 that relate to the State Board of Public Welfare and the Art Commission, both of which were terminated under the operation of the Sunset Act (Act 142 of 1981).

The Sunset Act set a timetable for the review and possible termination of state agencies, boards, bureaus, commissions, committees, councils and other similar units of government. Most of the entities were extended by the General Assembly, but some were terminated under the terms of the act.

I look forward to working with you on this important legislation.
