Subject: Voluntary Donations to the General Fund
 
In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation to allow concerned citizens to donate additional income directly to the Commonwealth’s General Fund.
 
With Pennsylvania’s fair, equitable, and flat tax rate of 3.07%, some individuals pay less in taxes than they are willing to. Instead of raising taxes on hard-working families who have been devastated by COVID-19 shutdowns, arbitrary waiver processes, and government bureaucracy, I want to give citizens the opportunity to voluntarily write checks to the Commonwealth to help the Commonwealth’s revenue.

Introduced as HB1480
