|Subject:||Random Acts of Kindness Week Resolution|
|In our increasingly global world, sometimes it feels more difficult than ever to make a positive difference in the lives of others. But frequent, small gestures can make someone’s day, or forge that human connection that we all need. Given the immense challenges 2020 has brought Pennsylvanians and people nationwide, going the extra mile for one another can have an immense impact on someone’s life.
Random Acts of Kindness Week is a chance to remember that these small actions can make a big difference. That is why I intend to introduce a resolution designating the week of February 14 through 20, 2021, as “Random Acts of Kindness Week” in Pennsylvania. Random Acts of Kindness Week is sponsored by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, a small nonprofit that invests resources into making kindness the norm through connecting students, workplaces, and families across the country.
It is my hope that this resolution will encourage Pennsylvanians of all walks of life to come together and give friends and neighbors a helping hand. Please join me in performing a random act of kindness during this week and every week.
