Subject: Pediatric Nurses Week - October 5-12, 2020
 
Pennsylvania is one of the few states where medical assistance is available to virtually all children with significant disabilities or medical needs. Caring for a child with complex medical needs is a great challenge to the parents and families who need and deserve to have supports in place. That’s why pediatric shift nursing is designed to offer the highest quality care to children, while easing the burden on parents and other family members.
 
In partnership with the Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA), I would like to recognize Pediatric Shift Nurses for their dedication and hard work by designating October 5-12, 2020 as Pediatric Nurses Week in Pennsylvania.  Please support this resolution and join me as a co-sponsor.
