MEMORANDUM

Posted: March 18, 2020 03:40 PM
From: Representative Kevin J. Boyle
To: All House members
Subject: Emergency funds for vote-by-mail - HB2367

In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic declaration, I have introduced emergency legislation, HB2367, to provide funding for all voters to vote by mail. The legislation can be viewed here:

https://www.legis.state.pa.us/CFDOCS/billInfo/billInfo.cfm?syear=2019&sInd=0&body=H&type=B&bn=2367

House Bill 2367 will require that all eligible voters be mailed a mail-in ballot application with prepaid postage, using the new mail-in ballot voting process provided for by Act 77. By practicing social distancing, we can work to reduce the number of individuals exposed to COVID-19 and ‘flatten the curve’, preventing this epidemic from overwhelming our healthcare workers and facilities.

Please join me in cosponsoring this vital legislation.
