Subject: | Resolution Honoring the Work of the Retiring Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency’s Executive Director, Brian A. Hudson Sr. |
This February, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), bid farewell to its Executive Director, Brian A. Hudson, after 45 years of unbending commitment and dedication. His multiple decades of service included sixteen years displaying stellar leadership as head of the PHFA. Some of the accomplishments under his leadership include changes to the agency's homeownership programs to meet evolving consumer needs, the allocation of hundreds of millions of dollars of tax credit investments in affordable rental housing across the Commonwealth, the growth of the state housing trust fund to provide resources for addressing local housing needs, and the expansion of a statewide housing counseling network. Mr. Hudson is also Chairman of Commonwealth Cornerstone Group (CCG), a community development entity started by PHFA in 2004. Proudly, under Mr. Hudson’s direction, CCG has distributed $368 million in New Markets Tax Credits to promote economic development in rural and low-income areas of Pennsylvania. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments and lengthy dedicated service of Mr. Brian A. Hudson Sr. and wishing him well on his retirement. |
