Subject: "Endometriosis Awareness Month" -- March 2020
 
Please join me in co-sponsoring a resolution recognizing March 2020 as "Endometriosis Awareness Month" in Pennsylvania.

Endometriosis happens when the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. This disease affects 15.5 million women in the United States and is most common among women in their 30s and 40s.

Symptoms include long menstrual cycles, terrible cramps, nausea and/or vomiting, chronic fatigue and infertility. A few of the popular treatment options include medication, hormone therapy and surgery.

Currently, there is no cure for this disease, but early diagnosis and proper treatment is key to living a full life.

I hope you will consider joining me in raising awareness and encouraging research to fight this disease.
