Subject: United States and Pennsylvania Flags- Made in the USA
 
I will be introducing legislation that requires the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to procure only United States and Pennsylvania flags which are manufactured in the United States.
We have precedents for this type of proposal: The U.S. Steel Procurement Act and the American Made Motor Vehicle Act.

Here in the state of Pennsylvania is the Valley Forge Flag Company, Inc. This is a family-run business that was founded in 1882 and is the oldest flag company in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this important piece of legislation.
