|Subject:||Resolution Designating October 2, 2019, as “Energy Efficiency Day”|
|Energy efficiency is the cheapest, quickest, and cleanest way to meet our energy needs and reduce utility bills for residential, business, and industrial customers. Cutting energy waste saves up to $500 per year for the average household and contributes to the protection of our environment.
To bring further awareness to the ways energy efficiency can help our Commonwealth and nation, I will be introducing a resolution designating October 2, 2019, as “Energy Efficiency Day” in Pennsylvania. More than 2.3 million Americans already work in the energy efficiency sector, and the room for growth is exponential.
