Subject: Building Safety Month in Pennsylvania

In the very near future, we will be introducing a resolution to designate May 2019 as Building Safety Month in Pennsylvania.

Building Safety Month is sponsored by the International Code Council and the Pennsylvania Association of Building Code Officials along with all of the other ICC chapters in Pennsylvania, to remind the public about the role of our local code officials.

All communities benefit from building codes that help protect their citizens and the structures in which they live, work, learn, and play. Disasters like fires, weather-related events and structural collapse are averted through strong enforcement of our building codes.

Please join us in co-sponsoring this resolution.
